This delicately fragranced body cream comes in a 200ml tube with black screw cap and the tube features the ‘Woodland Weeds’ pattern featuring medieval millefleur that William Morris was so fond of interspersed with a late Victorian repeating scroll form. About the William Morris range

William Morris, artist, philosopher, poet and political theorist, was one of the most outstanding influential designers of the Arts and Crafts movement. Through his company, Morris and Co he produced some of the most fashionable and exciting textiles and wallpapers of the late 19th century. He found his inspiration in nature and Medieval art, but also employed the very characteristic Victorian taste for heavily detailed patterns and deep, sometimes earthy colours. Because of their artistry and timeless and classic, natural feel, Morris’s designs have been consistently popular since his death in 1896.
